The Lincoln County Fire Protection District #1 would like to welcome our 6 newest career Firefighter/Paramedics. From left to right William Cassidy, Patrick Darnell, Matt Leinberger, David Killian, Nick McGavock and Courtney Dockler. With hiring these 6 additional members this will help us to keep our promise to our citizens to make sure we are able to staff our new Station 2 in Moscow Mills with a minimum of 3 career firefighters 24 hours a day 7 days a week. While our Station 2 is only a few months away from being finished these firefighters will be assigned to their shifts and will be working out of Station 1. Last week the new members spent the week working with our other crew members and learning about our district in their orientation class. On Friday these firefighters along with the our on-duty crew responded to a second alarm structure fire. The additional help they provided helped to save a residential dwelling.
