Bruce Becker and his wife LaNae, currently reside in Troy, Missouri. He retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a Master Sergeant on August 1, 2022 after 27 and a half years of service. Bruce served as the Officer in Charge of the Gaming Enforcement Unit at Horseshoe Casino in St. Louis, Missouri.
Bruce Becker retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as a Colonel on September 1, 2020. Colonel Becker served for 33 and a half years between Active Duty, National Guard and Army Reserve. His last assignment was Functional Specialty and Governance Team Chief for the 352nd Civil Affairs Command, U. S. Army Reserve, Fort Meade, Maryland. During his service he has deployed overseas four times. Serving in Iraq, Kuwait, Kosovo, Saudi Arabia, United Arabs Emirates, Qatar and Jordan.
Colonel Becker’s awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal and Armed Forces Reserve Medal.
Bruce Becker currently works part-time for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy assigned to the Court Services Division. He also works for McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes and Crematory as a Funeral Director. Bruce Becker also serves as a Army Contractor working for Native American Technologies consulting on U.S. Army Corps and Division level training exercise throughout the year.
Bruce Becker is the Junior Vice Commander of Lincoln County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8828, Troy, Missouri. He also serves as the Finance Officer for John I. Wilson Memorial American Legion Post 94, Troy, Missouri. Becker is the Vice President of the 35th Infantry Division Association, Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. He is a Member of Knights of Columbus Council 6525 and Elks Lodge 2805, Troy, Missouri.
